A bit about Daniele
Hello! My name is Daniele De Leone and I am a doctoral student clinician here at BPS. I am working under the direct supervision of Dr. Josh Bock (PSY. 6711) and I am very excited to meet you! I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, self-esteem, school or work pressures, and major life transitions. I also enjoy working with adults who are seeking support during difficult periods or want to better understand patterns that may be holding them back. My clinical experience has included working with adolescents, couples, and young adults in community mental health settings, as well as individuals and groups navigating anger management and other complex life challenges.
My approach to therapy is active, collaborative, and centered on the belief that you are so much more than the problems that brought you to therapy. I believe therapy should help you better understand yourself so you can make choices that feel healthy and authentic to you. I want to understand where you come from, where you are now, and where you want to go, as well as how your experiences and relationships have shaped how you see yourself and the world around you. Therapy should be a safe and supportive space where you can be fully open about what you are experiencing, even when it is difficult or uncomfortable, without judgement. I won't sit back and expect you to do all the work. We will work together to make sense of what's happening, build self-awareness, and identify meaningful ways to move toward your goals.
I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while adapting my approach to each client's individual needs and goals. My goal as your therapist is to help you develop practical skills, strengthen relationships, and feel more confident navigating your life. I look forward to meeting you and helping you make meaningful change.
